Turkish milk bread in a pan

Ingredients:
FOR THE DOUGH:
.4 cups all-purpose flour
.1/4 cup granulated sugar
.1 teaspoon salt
.2 teaspoons active dry yeast
.1 cup warm milk
.1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
.1 large egg, beaten

FOR BRUSHING (OPTIONAL):
.1 tablespoon milk or melted butter

Instructions:
1.Activate the Yeast:
.In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture, stir gently, and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

2.Prepare the Dough:
.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the melted butter, beaten egg, and activated yeast mixture.
.Mix until a dough forms.

1.Knead the Dough:
.Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
