BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook until al dente, following the package instructions. The pasta should be firm but tender.
  2. Drain the cooked pasta and set aside. A drizzle of olive oil can help prevent it from sticking while you prepare the other components.

2️⃣ Make the Meat Mixture

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside on a paper towel to drain, leaving about a tablespoon of bacon grease in the pan for flavor.
  2. Add the ground beef and chopped onion to the skillet. Cook, breaking up the beef with a spoon, until browned and the onions are soft and translucent — about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in the BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together, then remove from heat.
