Instructions
- Preheat and prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°C (or 175°F if converted). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure even browning. This also makes cleanup easier.
- Mix the butter and sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer. Beat on medium speed for about 2–3 minutes until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. The air incorporated at this stage helps create a soft, tender cookie texture.
- Add wet ingredients: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Continue mixing for another 2 minutes until the batter is smooth and glossy, with all ingredients fully incorporated.
