Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup + 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- 4 cups powdered (confectioners’) sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
To Toast the Pecans:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread pecans on a foil-lined half sheet pan and toast for 8–12 minutes, stirring halfway through, until fragrant and lightly browned. Allow them to cool, then crush lightly with a mallet for more even texture and flavor distribution.
