Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Season the Chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder for even flavor and a beautiful crust when seared.
Step 2: Sear to Perfection
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Stir and let simmer for a minute to combine flavors.
Step 4: Simmer the Chicken
Return the chicken to the skillet, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5–7 minutes until fully cooked through (165°F / 75°C internal temperature).
Step 5: Add the Cheese
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the chicken breasts. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes, until the cheese melts perfectly.
Step 6: Garnish & Serve
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
