Crepes with Custard–Cheese Filling
Light, tender crepes wrapped around a creamy vanilla custard and twaróg (farmer’s cheese) filling — simple, homey, and delicious.
Ingredients
For the Crepe Batter
- 2 eggs (separated)
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cups water
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
For the Filling
- 250 g (about 9 oz) ground/pressed farmer’s cheese (twaróg) or well-drained ricotta
- 2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)
- 500 ml (2 cups) milk
- 1 packet vanilla or cream-flavored pudding mix (with sugar)
