Step 1: Cook the Ground Beef
- In a large skillet set over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula as it browns. Continue cooking for about 6–8 minutes until no pink remains.
- Drain any excess fat to prevent the filling from becoming greasy.
- Add the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well to combine and cook for another minute so the flavors meld together.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. This step makes it easier to handle when stuffing the dough.
Step 2: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup simple.
