Ingredients

  • Base:
  • 2 cups cold milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1012 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed
  • Decorations (mix and match):
  • Gummy worms

  • Candy pumpkins
  • Crushed green sprinkles or coconut (for “grass”)
  • Black or chocolate decorating gel (to write “RIP”)
  • Mini bones, skulls, or Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together cold milk and pudding mix until thickened (about 2 minutes). Let sit 5 minutes to fully set.
  2. Fold in thawed whipped topping gently until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Crush chocolate sandwich cookies in a zip-top bag using a rolling pin or pulse in a food processor.
  4. To assemble, spoon pudding mixture into cups (about 2/3 full), then top with crushed cookies to resemble “dirt.”
  5. Decorate with gummy worms, candy pumpkins, and Halloween sprinkles.
  6. Write “RIP” on Milano or Nutter Butter cookies using decorating gel or edible marker and insert as tombstones.
  7. Refrigerate cups for at least 30 minutes before serving. Can be made up to 2 days in advance.
