Heaven In A Bowl – Peanut Butter Chocolate Dream Bars

Instructions

1. Make the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until the texture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form an even crust.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes while you prepare the filling.

2. Prepare the Peanut Butter Mousse:

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
  3. Spread the peanut butter mousse evenly over the chilled crust.

3. Create the Chocolate Ganache:

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl until steaming, but not boiling.
  2. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes to melt the chocolate.
  3. Stir until smooth, glossy, and fully combined. Let cool for a few minutes before pouring over the peanut butter layer.
  4. Pour the ganache evenly over the top of the peanut butter mousse and gently spread it with a spatula.
