Instructions
1. Prepare the Marinade:
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, and olive oil until smooth and well combined. This mixture will create the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and citrusy flavors.
2. Marinate the Wings:
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor). Turn the wings occasionally to ensure even coating.
3. Bake the Wings:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and arrange the marinated wings in a single layer. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
4. Glaze and Caramelize:
Brush the baked wings with any remaining marinade or an extra drizzle of honey for added shine. Return them to the oven for another 5 minutes to allow the glaze to thicken and caramelize beautifully. The wings should be sticky, glossy, and slightly charred on the edges.
