- 500 g (1 lb) squid, cleaned and cut into rings
- ½ cup all-purpose flour

- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Aioli:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt & pepper, to taste
