Directions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small oven-safe dish with olive oil.
- Sauté the vegetables: In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add diced bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until softened and lightly golden.
- Add protein: If using pepperoni or sausage, stir them into the skillet and cook for 2–3 additional minutes to combine flavors and warm through.
- Assemble the bowl: Transfer the sautéed vegetables and meat into the prepared oven-safe dish. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Top and season: Drizzle the low-carb pizza sauce over the cheese layer. Sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly browned around the edges.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil before serving for a burst of color and freshness.
