👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the Oven 🔥
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Set aside.
2️⃣ Cream the Butter and Sugar 🧈🍬
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until everything is well combined.
3️⃣ Mix the Dry Ingredients 🍞
- In a separate bowl, stir together the all-purpose flour and baking soda.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir until fully combined.
4️⃣ Add the Oats, Chocolate Chips, and M&M’s 🍫🍬
- Stir in the quick-cooking oats, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and M&M candies until everything is evenly distributed in the dough.
5️⃣ Press the Dough 🍪
- Press the cookie dough mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan, making sure it’s spread out evenly.
- If desired, sprinkle additional M&M candies on top and gently press them into the dough.
6️⃣ Bake the Bars 🍪
- Bake in the preheated oven for 14–16 minutes, or until the edges are slightly browned and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Be careful not to overbake.
7️⃣ Cool & Serve 🍽️
- Remove from the oven and let the cookie bars cool slightly in the pan.
- For best results, allow them to cool completely before slicing, although it can be tempting to dig in right away!
