He presented evidence: a signed contract, recordings of Linda offering him money to marry me as part of her twisted plan. Then came the final blow — documents proving her embezzlement of my father’s estate, stealing from both me and my brother.
Gasps filled the room. Linda’s face drained of color as police officers — whom Elias had quietly alerted — stepped forward to escort her out. Justice, long delayed, had finally arrived.
