Perfect Grilled Cheese with Harrison Ford’s Twist

Instructions

  1. Prep the Bread
    Use hearty whole wheat bread that won’t fall apart. Spread a light layer of Worcestershire sauce on the inside of each slice.

  2. Layer the Sandwich

    • Place a layer of shredded sharp cheddar on one slice.

    • Add 1–2 tomato slices.

    • Sprinkle a tiny bit of black pepper (optional).

    • Top with more cheddar, then the second slice of bread.

  3. Butter and Grill

    • Lightly butter the outside of both slices (or use mayo).

    • Heat a skillet over medium heat.

    • Cook the sandwich for 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  4. Serve
    Let it rest for a minute before slicing. Serve hot and gooey.
