Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 small box Reese’s Pieces
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, vanilla extract, and eggs. Stir until the mixture forms a smooth, thick batter. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan, pressing it gently into the corners. Sprinkle the Reese’s Pieces generously over the top, pressing them lightly into the surface so they stick while baking. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the center looks set.
Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares. Each bite delivers a perfect mix of melty chocolate, buttery cookie texture, and that signature Reese’s crunch. These cookie bars were a huge hit with my grandkids — and they’re so simple to make, you’ll want to bake them again and again. Enjoy! ❤️
