Step 3 – Pour the Water

  1. Carefully pour boiling water over the entire surface of the dish. Do not stir!
  2. The water will sink through and form a thick, fudgy sauce as it bakes.

Step 4 – Bake

  1. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top looks set but the bottom remains gooey and bubbling.
  2. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving — this allows the sauce to thicken slightly.

Step 5 – Serve & Enjoy
