- Grate your cheese and place small mounds — about 1 tablespoon each — onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. This allows room for the cheese to spread as it melts.
- Gently flatten each mound into a thin circle. Aim for uniform size and thickness to ensure even crisping.
Step 3: Add the Pepperoni
- Top each cheese circle with a pepperoni slice. If you’re using smaller pepperoni, add two or three pieces to cover most of the surface.
Step 4: Bake Until Golden
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5–7 minutes, or until the edges of the cheese are bubbling and deep golden brown. The center should appear slightly darker and crisp.
- Keep a close eye on them toward the end — the cheese can go from perfect to overdone quickly.
