  1. Grate your cheese and place small mounds — about 1 tablespoon each — onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. This allows room for the cheese to spread as it melts.
  2. Gently flatten each mound into a thin circle. Aim for uniform size and thickness to ensure even crisping.

Step 3: Add the Pepperoni

  1. Top each cheese circle with a pepperoni slice. If you’re using smaller pepperoni, add two or three pieces to cover most of the surface.

Step 4: Bake Until Golden

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 5–7 minutes, or until the edges of the cheese are bubbling and deep golden brown. The center should appear slightly darker and crisp.
  2. Keep a close eye on them toward the end — the cheese can go from perfect to overdone quickly.
