Apple Snickerdoodle Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 (21 oz) cans apple pie filling
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for extra spice)
  • 1 box snickerdoodle cake mix (or white/yellow cake mix with added cinnamon-sugar packet)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (optional, for extra caramel flavor)
  • Optional toppings: vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar if using.
  3. Sprinkle the snickerdoodle cake mix evenly over the apples—do not stir.
  4. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Try to cover as much of the surface as possible.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. Top with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
