1. Roast the Sweet Potatoes:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Spread the sweet potato cubes on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then toss to coat evenly. Roast for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the cubes are tender inside and lightly caramelized on the edges. The roasting brings out their natural sweetness and adds a subtle smoky flavor.
2. Cook the Ground Beef:
While the sweet potatoes roast, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil, then the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if desired.
