1. Prepare the Veggies:
Chop the broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized florets and rinse them well under cold water. Drain thoroughly or pat dry with paper towels — removing excess moisture helps the dressing coat the veggies perfectly.
2. Cook the Bacon:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp and golden. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble it into small pieces.
3. Mix the Dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar (or honey), salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed — add more vinegar for tanginess or a touch more sugar for sweetness.
