Step 2: Cooking the Salted Brisket
Rinse and Cook the Brisket:
Rinse your salted brisket thoroughly under cold water to remove excess salt.
Then place it in your pressure cooker and fill it halfway with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
Tip: Skim the surface regularly with a slotted spoon to remove impurities.
Step 3: Add the vegetables
Incorporate the first vegetables:
Once the water is simmering and skimmed well, add the blanched cabbage, the carrots cut into sections, the turnips peeled and quartered, the peeled onion and pricked with the garlic cloves.
