Step 4: Assemble the Burritos
- Warm the flour tortillas for a few seconds in the microwave or in a dry skillet until pliable. This prevents cracking when wrapping.
- Divide the filling evenly among the tortillas, spreading it in the center. Add any optional toppings like chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, or avocado slices for extra freshness and heat.
Step 5: Wrap and Heat
- Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll tightly into a burrito shape. Ensure the seam is tucked underneath to keep it sealed while heating.
- For a crispy golden finish, place the burritos seam-side down in a hot, dry skillet. Toast each side for 1–2 minutes until lightly browned and crisp. This step adds texture and helps seal the edges.
Step 6: Serve
- Transfer the burritos to a serving plate and slice in half if desired for easier serving.
- Serve warm with extra ranch dressing or salsa on the side for dipping. Pair with chips, rice, or a simple salad for a complete meal.
