Crispy Pepperoni Cheese Chips

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.

2. Mix the Cheeses and Seasonings:

In a medium bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well blended — this creates a savory, flavorful cheese base for your chips.

3. Assemble the Chips:

Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing each mound about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon, then top each mound with a slice of pepperoni.

4. Bake:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 6–8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges turn golden brown and crisp. Keep a close eye near the end — cheese can go from perfect to overdone quickly!

5. Cool and Crisp Up:

Remove from the oven and let the chips cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. As they cool, they’ll firm up into crispy, crunchy perfection. Transfer to a wire rack or paper towel-lined plate to drain any extra oil.

6. Serve:

Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes or chopped parsley if desired. Serve plain, or enjoy with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dip for extra flavor.
