Crustless Quiche with Bacon

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Prepare the egg mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add the mix-ins: Stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded Swiss cheese. For extra flavor, you can add herbs like chives, parsley, or thyme.
  4. Bake the quiche: Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden. The quiche should jiggle slightly in the center but firm up as it cools.
  5. Cool and serve: Let the quiche cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled — it’s delicious any way you like!
