Epiphany Cake with Pastry Cream (Traditional & Unmissable Recipe)

3️⃣ Make the frangipane

  • Incorporate the cooled pastry cream into the almond
    ➡️ cream You get a light, melting and traditional frangipane

4️⃣ Assembling the cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Unroll a disk of puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

  3. Spread the frangipane, leaving 2 cm of free edge.

  4. Slide the bean 🎁

  5. Moisten the edges, cover with the second disc and seal well.

  6. Brown with beaten egg, then draw patterns with the tip of a knife.

5️⃣ Cooking

  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the patty is golden brown and puffed

  • Let cool before tasting
