Garlic Parmesan Chicken Sliders

Instructions

1. Prepare the Garlic Parmesan Butter:

In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it begins to foam gently. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant. Be careful not to brown the garlic—it should remain light in color for a mild, aromatic flavor. Remove from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and slightly creamy. This buttery mixture will infuse the sliders with rich, garlicky depth.

2. Make the Chicken Filling:

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the mixture is creamy and evenly coated. The Dijon adds a subtle tang that balances the buttery richness, while the mayonnaise ensures the chicken stays moist and tender.

3. Assemble the Sliders:

Slice the slider buns horizontally in half. Spread a generous layer of the garlic-Parmesan butter over the bottom halves. Spoon a hearty portion of the chicken mixture on top of each bun. If you’d like some freshness and crunch, layer on lettuce or baby spinach leaves. Place the top halves of the buns over the filling to complete the sliders.

4. Optional Baking Step:

For extra warmth and texture, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 5–7 minutes, or until heated through and lightly crisped on top. The cheese and butter will melt slightly into the bread, making the sliders even more flavorful and aromatic.

5. Garnish and Serve:
